Important! Pursuant to Georgia's new voter ID law, all Georgia voters must show one of six forms of photo ID at their polling location. Acceptable forms of identification include:
- Any valid photo ID issued by the state or federal government.
- A Georgia driver's license, even if expired.
- Any employee ID issued by any department of the federal, state, or your local government.
- A U.S. passport.
- U.S. military ID card.
- Tribal photo ID.
If you do not have one of these six pieces of identification, you may obtain a valid photo ID for free from any branch of the Georgia Department of Driver Services or from your local registrar.
